A craving that
became a calling
Lia Lim, 23, and Tessa Foo, 27, first met while working as cabin crew in the aviation industry. They became inseparable friends — and on every trip to Japan, they kept stopping at street stalls, ordering cone after cone.
Lia left aviation first and spent nearly a year developing the recipe at home — going through over 15kg of flour before finding the right blend. Tessa joined in late 2025, bringing structure and a sharp instinct for R&D.
Today, Lia leads marketing and the matcha station; Tessa runs crepe-making and product development. Kremi opened as one of the first tenants at the newly relaunched *SCAPE — a bet on youth, craft, and a little piece of Japan in the heart of Orchard.
